Robert Licamara

Director Of Security at Fair Lawn Public Schools

Robert Licamara has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Robert started their career as a Patrol Officer with the South Hackensack Police Department in 1994, where they enforced laws and provided first aid in emergencies. Robert later served as a Detective Sergeant and Detective, conducting investigations and collecting evidence until 2014. In 2014, Licamara was promoted to Deputy Chief of Police, overseeing the management and delivery of police services in the Township. In 2016, Licamara joined Shatter Shield Security as a Security Consultant before transitioning to the role of Deputy Director of Public Safety at Borough of Manhattan Community College. Robert was responsible for the strategic vision, daily operations, and safety of over 26,000 students and 5,000 faculty and staff. Licamara then became the Director of Security at Fair Lawn Public Schools in 2018. Most recently, in 2023, they became the Owner and Inventor of Smart Safety Drop.

Robert Licamara is a Certified School Safety Specialist in the field of school security. Robert has also attended Passaic County Community College and the Passaic County Police Academy, though no specific degrees or fields of study are mentioned for these institutions.
