Angela Young (She/Her/Hers)

Angela Young has a diverse work experience in the field of Human Resources. Angela is currently working as the Director of People Operations at Fair Trade USA since 2022. Prior to this, they spent twelve years at the American Red Cross, where they held various roles including Business Partner in HR Advice & Counsel, HR Business Partner, Human Resources Advisor, and Sr. HR Business Consultant. Angela also worked at Time Warner Cable as a Senior Human Resources Coordinator and at YMCA as a Human Resource Coordinator. Angela started their career at All Kinds of Minds as a Program Assistant/Coordinator and at Duke University Health System as a Staff Specialist.

Angela Young studied at North Carolina Central University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Sciences. Angela also obtained a certification from the American Red Cross's IMPACT Leadership Development Institute in January 2021.
