Maria Costa

Maria Costa has an extensive work experience spanning over multiple companies and roles. Maria most recently worked at Fair Trade USA as a Finance Director for Financial Planning and Analysis starting in September 2022. Prior to that, they were a Finance Manager for Commercial & Innovation at Glatfelter from June 2020 to August 2022. Maria took a career break from 2016 to 2020 to focus on their family. Before their break, they worked at Genworth as a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager for LatAm and later as a Commercial FP&A for Global Lifestyle Protection Insurance from September 2014 to May 2016. From September 2010 to August 2014, they were a Finance Business Partner for Mortgage Insurance Europe at Enact Mortgage Insurance. Maria also has experience as a Finance Analyst for Marketing at Unibet from February 2009 to September 2010, and as an Equity Research Analyst at Thomson Reuters from April 2002 to March 2008.

Maria Costa has a Master of Science degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of London. Maria also holds a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Universidade Estadual de Goiás. In addition, they have a certification as a Chartered Certified Accountant from ACCA.
