Alexander Kohnstamm serves as the Executive Director of the Fair Wear Foundation since February 2018, focusing on improving workplace conditions in the clothing industry through collaboration with various stakeholders. Previously, Kohnstamm held the role of Director of Advocacy at the Joep Lange Institute from July 2015 to December 2017, and before that, served as Director of External Affairs at PharmAccess Foundation from November 2013 to December 2017, where efforts were directed towards enhancing healthcare access in sub-Saharan Africa. Kohnstamm was also the Executive Director at Partos from November 2009 to October 2013, supporting civil society organizations in international development. An entrepreneurial background is evidenced by the role as Executive Director at KidsRights from November 2004 to October 2009, advocating for children's projects.
