James Jakubowski

James Jakubowski has a diverse work experience in the field of technology and media. James started their career as an Editing Intern at jumP Editorial in 2011, where they assisted various departments and sat in on edits. In 2012, they became an Apprentice/Assistant Editor at jumP NY, where they performed a wide range of tasks including media organization, troubleshooting software issues, and collaborating with editors on client sessions. During this time, they gained proficiency in FCP7 and Premiere Pro workflows.

After leaving jumP NY in 2015, James joined Technicolor-PostWorks NY as an IT Technician, contributing to the technological aspect of the company. James then transitioned to Fairdinkum Consulting in 2018, where they first worked as an IT Support Associate and later as a Senior Systems Engineer/Team Lead. In these roles, they oversaw the management of MSP clients, led a team of engineers, and facilitated fixes and future changes. James also conducted client reviews and meetings to stay updated on industry standards and changes over time.
