Kavan Lam

Kavan Lam is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in backend development and full-stack web development. Currently serving as a Senior Backend Engineer at Faire since November 2025, Kavan previously held the position of Senior Software Engineer at IXL Learning from May 2021 to November 2025, where a comprehensive CDC system and data pipeline for PostgreSQL was designed and implemented. In an earlier role at IXL, Kavan contributed to full-stack development and fostered partnerships with third-party vendors. Additionally, Kavan has experience in education as a Computer Science Teacher at Focus-Learning Academic Centre and as a tutor in Mathematics and Computer Science, providing personalized instruction to students.
