Dena Jensen

Dena Jensen is an experienced educator and yoga instructor with a robust background in teaching and curriculum development. Currently serving as an Elementary School Teacher at Fairfax County Public Schools since August 2024, Dena previously held various roles, including Adjunct Faculty Yoga Instructor at George Mason University and Faculty Advisor for Kappa Delta Sorority, where Dena engaged with students across multiple teaching modalities. Dena's experience also includes founding and directing NOVA SCOOP, a learning community for homeschool students, and developing a literature-themed curriculum as a Pre-K Yoga Teacher at Sleepy Hollow Preschool. Dena holds a Master's of Education from Duquesne University and a Bachelor's degree in Business Marketing from Penn State University, complemented by yoga teacher training from Sun & Moon Yoga Studio.
