Josephine Aveni

Josephine Aveni is an experienced educator currently serving as an Educational Representative at Close Up Foundation since June 2022. Prior roles include ESL Instructor at Astar Education Institute and Teacher at Prince William Academy, both held in early 2022, as well as a Long Term Substitute Teacher for the Catholic Diocese of Arlington from December 2020 to February 2022. Josephine also contributed as a Summer Camp Teacher at iSchool for the Future and a Writing Ranger at Adventures in Writing Camp in July 2021. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from George Mason University, completed in 2020, and prior studies at Virginia Tech from 2015 to 2018.
