Kara Blakley

Kara Blakley currently serves as a Color Guard Tech at Fairfax County Public Schools since July 2023, contributing to both outdoor and indoor performances by teaching dance and color guard basics while leading rehearsals. Prior experience includes a role as a Color Guard Tech at Loudoun County Public Schools where assistance with choreographing a field show took place during the summer of 2023. As a Color Guard Instructor at Kettle Run High School from May 2022 to December 2022, Kara directed rehearsals and choreographed a complete marching band show. Additional work experience includes positions as a Banquet Server at Airlie and a Server at The Inn at Little Washington Careers, along with serving as a Coffee Break Attendant at Airlie. Kara is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Communication, Advocacy at James Madison University, with an expected graduation date in May 2025, and is an alumnus of Kettle Run High School.
