Nathan Tashjy

Nathan Tashjy is a Social Studies Teacher at Fairfax County Public Schools since July 2021. Prior experience includes serving as Lead Editor and Director of Digital Content at Georgetown University, where Nathan co-developed and edited The Footnote, a forum-based blog for Georgetown's Graduate School of Arts and Sciences. Before this, Nathan worked as a Line Chef at JK Food Group and as a Program Services Coordinator for Road Scholar, providing customer service and maintaining program information. An internship at the Massachusetts Department of Education involved assisting in the development of a Strategic Communications Plan. Nathan holds a Master of Arts in Global, International, and Comparative History from Georgetown University and a Bachelor’s Degree in History from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, along with experience at Istituto Lorenzo de' Medici and Susquehanna University.
