Shashonna Smith is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in agile practices, product management, and education in technology. Currently serving as the Conference Chair for Women in Agile 2022, Shashonna has also held multiple roles, including Agile Coach/Trainer and Product Manager at coderighter, and Executive Director of the non-profit When Doves Code, which aims to enhance computer science education for K-12 students and underrepresented groups. Shashonna serves on the Career and Technical Education Advisory Committee for Fairfax County Public Schools, providing insights into program improvement. As the owner and founder of Kid Care Anywhere, Shashonna focuses on facilitating on-site childcare for events. Previous positions include Agile Architect/Developer at Blue Collar Objects and IT Specialist at IBM. Shashonna holds a B.S. in Computer and Information Science from Spelman College.
