Jessica Duncan

Jessica Duncan has a diverse work experience in the field of human resources. Jessica is currently working as the Director of HR at Fairfield and Woods, P.C. since December 2022. Prior to this role, they were a Human Resources Generalist at the same company from July 2022 to December 2022.

Before joining Fairfield and Woods, P.C., Jessica worked at Colorado PERA as a Senior Human Resources Generalist from October 2018 to July 2022 and as an HR Generalist from March 2016 to July 2022.

Their earlier experience includes working at Family Restaurants Inc. as a Human Resources/Payroll Generalist from April 2011 to March 2016. Here, they managed the payroll process for multiple entities with a total of 900 employees spread across three states.

Jessica also worked at Elcar Fence & Supply Co. as an HR/Payroll Representative from March 2010 to March 2011. In this role, they established an in-house payroll system, handled human resources tasks, and built strong relationships with vendors.

Jessica began their career as a Teller at BBVA Compass in 2008.

Jessica Duncan's education history includes obtaining a Master of Legal Studies degree in HR Law from the University of Denver - Sturm College of Law in 2019. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management/Human Resource Management from Metropolitan State University of Denver from 2012 to 2014. In addition to their formal education, Jessica has also obtained several certifications, including Mental Health First Aid from the National Council for Mental Wellbeing, Notary Public from the State of Colorado, SCP from SHRM, and SPHR from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI.
