Duduetsang Makinta has a solid background in maritime operations, currently serving as a Vessel Operator at Fairfield Chemical Carriers since January 2019. Prior experience includes a role as a Navigation Officer at the South African Maritime Safety Authority from December 2016 to March 2018 and a Cadet position at RKOffshore Management Pte Ltd from July 2014 to May 2016. Duduetsang gained initial experience as an Intern at the South African Maritime Safety Authority’s MRCC from February 2014 to July 2014. Academically, Duduetsang is pursuing a Postgraduate Degree in Maritime Studies at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, building on a National Diploma in Maritime Studies (Deck) obtained from Cape Peninsula University of Technology.
