Rebecca Cordero

Manager, Center For Nonprofit Excellence at Fairfield County's Community Foundation

Rebecca Cordero currently serves as Sr. Manager of the Center for Nonprofit Excellence at Fairfield County's Community Foundation since November 2019, where responsibilities include designing and delivering over 25 capacity-building programs benefiting more than 400 nonprofits annually and investing $70K in Leaders of Color programming. Prior experience includes Sr. Associate roles supporting grant initiatives for The Fund for Women & Girls and the Immigrant Support Fund, providing grant application support, technical assistance, and organizing community events. Cordero's earlier work involved managing philanthropic giving programs at TASC and various positions in marketing, guest services, and administration. Cordero holds a Master of Museum Studies/Nonprofit Management from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Connecticut.
