Alexandra Apgar

Alexandra Birtwell is a dedicated educator currently serving as a Second Grade Teacher at Fairfield Public Schools since August 2023, with previous experience in the same role at Pomperaug Elementary School. Alexandra began teaching as a Student Teacher in early 2022 while completing an accelerated Master of Science in Elementary Education at the University of Bridgeport. Prior to entering the education field, Alexandra worked in various event management roles, including as a Sponsorship Fulfillment Manager at Reed Exhibitions and a Hospitality & Events Trainee at MKTG, where skills in planning and executing significant events were developed. Additional experiences include internships focusing on event planning and marketing, which complement Alexandra's educational background and commitment to fostering relationships with students and the community.
