Erik Johnson

Erik Johnson is an accomplished basketball coach and educator with extensive experience in NCAA Division I athletics. Currently serving as the Assistant Women's Basketball Coach at Fairfield University since May 2022, Erik assists in the operational aspects of a mid-major program. In addition, Erik has been a Trainer and Keynote Speaker for the Positive Coaching Alliance since November 2018, focusing on character development in youth sports. Previously, Erik held leadership positions including Managing Director at The Bulfinch Group, where significant recruitment and team culture initiatives were implemented. Notable coaching roles include Head Women's Basketball Coach at Boston College and the University of Denver, where Erik successfully rebuilt team cultures and achieved significant recruitment and competitive milestones. Erik's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from UC San Diego and a Master of Arts in Adult Education from the University of Rhode Island.
