John Drazan is an accomplished academic and professional in the field of biomedical engineering, currently serving as an Assistant Professor at Fairfield University since September 2021. In addition to academic roles, Drazan has been the STEM director at 4th Family Inc since January 2013, developing and presenting STEM programming for K-12 audiences and assisting others in creating their own programs. Previous experience includes a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania (August 2018 - September 2021) and teaching at Lincoln University as an IRACDA Teaching Fellow. Drazan also held a lecturer position at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute from June 2012 to July 2018 while pursuing graduate studies and research focused on passive sensing applications in trauma and orthopedics. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. and a master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a BA in Physics from SUNY Geneseo.
