Joseph P. McFadden Sr.

Joseph P. McFadden Sr. is an accomplished professional in mechanical engineering with extensive experience in both industry and academia. Currently serving as the Sr Manager of Mechanical Engineering Analysis and Service at Zebra Technologies since October 2014, Joseph leads a team that provides engineering support encompassing materials, design, processing, and tooling, while also applying advanced CAE technology to prevent failures. Additionally, Joseph has been an Adjunct Professor at Fairfield University since January 1999, where instruction includes Strength of Materials and various engineering labs. As the owner of McFadden CAE Services since 1992, Joseph offers consulting in CAE, including simulations and design projects. Previous roles at Motorola and Stonel Associates Inc. involved engineering support and failure analysis, and Joseph also contributed to polymer flow technology at Moldflow from 1979 to 1988. Joseph earned a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bridgeport in 2003.
