Julie Peters

Julie Peters, CRA, is a seasoned professional in research administration and grants management, currently serving as Senior Director at the Office of Research and Grants at Fairfield University since June 2020. Previously, Julie held the position of Programs Director at Wholesome Wave, where leadership involved implementing nutrition incentive programs for underserved communities. As Grants Director at Innovations for Poverty Action, significant accomplishments included managing a team responsible for over 400 active grants and leading the development of a grants management system. Julie’s extensive experience also encompasses roles at TechnoServe, including Director of Knowledge Management and Country Director for Nicaragua, where oversight of substantial budgets and large teams was central to success. Julie holds a BA in International Relations from Bucknell University and has completed significant coursework towards an MBA at the University of Connecticut.
