Laura R. Reynolds

Laura Reynolds is the Executive Director of Alumni Engagement and Special Events at Fairleigh Dickinson University. Laura has over 20 years of experience in event planning and management, and has executed events all over the world for companies large and small.

Reynolds got their start in the events industry in 1999 with Cable & Wireless Communications, where they quickly rose through the ranks to become the Corporate Meeting & Events Manager. In this role, they were responsible for planning and executing over 100 lead-generation events, partner events and conferences across the United States, Europe, Asia and Latin America that generated new prospects and yielded an average of over $500,000 in revenue for the Britain-based telecommunications company.

Reynolds is a master at developing relationships with clients and sponsors and identifying key trends in the industry. Laura has a proven track record of designing marketing plans and materials that are aligned with company sales goals and that ultimately help generate new prospects at each event. Throughout their career, they have secured top-tier speakers and sponsors for their events, including Steve Young, former quarterback of the San Francisco 49ers who motivated their sales team to sell during a tough year.

In their current role as Executive Director of Alumni Engagement and Special Events at Fairleigh Dickinson University, Reynolds is responsible for overseeing a wide variety of alumni events and special occasions. Laura is an expert at managing all aspects of an event, from audience acquisition and production to contract negotiation, accommodations, transportation, food and beverage management and registration. Under their leadership, the alumni engagement team has successfully reconnected thousands of alumni with the university.

Laura R. Reynolds has a MBA in Marketing from Fairleigh Dickinson University and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Business from Seton Hall University. Laura is also TIPs Certified from Health Communications, Inc. (The TIPS Program).

Reynolds works with Delia Grace Perez - Director of Planned Giving, Jennifer Troxell - Associate Director of Alumni Relations and Development, and Kenneth Lam - Executive Director of Annual Giving and Campaign Operations.
