Kareem Saleh

Founder, CEO at FairPlay

Kareem Saleh is the founder and CEO of FairPlay. Prior to FairPlay, they served as Executive Vice President at Zest AI from May 2016 to June 2020. From July 2014 to June 2015, they served as Senior Advisor to the CEO at Overseas Private Investment Corporation. From June 2012 to July 2014, they served as Chief of Staff at the U.S. Department of State. Kareem was also an Associate at Buckley LLP from September 2010 to May 2012. Prior to that, they worked on the Obama for America IMF / World Bank Transition Team from November 2008 to January 2009 and on the Obama for America Economic, Globalization and Trade Policy Team from March 2007 to November 2008. Kareem Saleh began their career as a Program Officer at the German Marshall Fund of the United States in September 2001.

Kareem Saleh completed their undergraduate degree at the University of Chicago, where they studied political science and economy. Kareem then went on to Georgetown University Law Center to complete their Doctor of Law (J.D.).
