Francois Pigeon

Francois Pigeon is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in software engineering and enterprise architecture. Currently serving as VP of Software Engineering and Enterprise Architecture at the National Bank of Canada since June 2025, Pigeon also holds the position of Chief Technology Officer at Fairstone Bank, where tenure began in April 2017, along with previous roles as Deputy CTO and VP of Enterprise Architecture, Data, and InfoSec. Prior to this, Pigeon was Chief Architect at CitiFinancial Canada from August 2015 to April 2017 and worked as an Enterprise Application Architect at Aimia Inc from May 2011 to August 2015, where contributions included establishing an Enterprise Architecture practice based on the TOGAF methodology. Earlier career experience includes roles as an IT Architect and IT Specialist at IBM from January 1998 to May 2011. Pigeon holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Science from Université de Sherbrooke, completed in 1998.
