Adam Karlen

Adam Karlen, DNP, RN, NEA-BC, CCRN, currently serves as the Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer at Fairview Health Services since December 2023. Prior to this role, Adam held various leadership positions at Park Nicollet Health Services from June 2015 to December 2023, including Clinical Nursing Director for Critical Care & Respiratory Therapy and Clinical Nursing Director for the Medical/Surgical ICU. Adam's earlier experience includes serving as an Organ Procurement Coordinator and an Adult/Peds ICU Float RN at UW Health from November 2011 to June 2015, and as an Adult ICU Charge and Staff RN at UnityPoint Health – Meriter from June 2009 to June 2015. Adam earned a Doctor of Nursing Practice in Health Innovation and Leadership from the University of Minnesota between 2018 and 2021 and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 2005 to 2009.
