Katie Pitzl

Katie Pitzl, MSN, RN, NPD-BC, serves as the Manager of System Clinical Education and Learning at Fairview Health Services since October 2018, where responsibilities include the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of competency-based orientation and education programs for medical surgical nursing staff. Prior experience includes roles as a Clinical Educator at University of Minnesota Physicians, where curriculum design for interdisciplinary staff was a focus, and various nursing positions at University of Minnesota Medical Center, including Staff Registered Nurse and Interim Nurse Manager in surgical oncology. Education credentials include a Doctor's Degree in Nursing Practice from St. Catherine University (expected May 2025), a Master's of Science in Nurse Educator from St. Catherine University (2017), and a Bachelor of Science in Registered Nursing from University of Minnesota-Twin Cities (2007).
