Luisa Tropartz has had a varied career in the e-commerce and business analytics industries. Luisa began their career in 2008 as a Marketing Coordinator for Biija in Cape Town, South Africa. In this role, they managed the monthly promotional calendar and supervised the campaign fulfilment. In 2009, Luisa moved to a Business Analyst role at Biija, where they acted as the link between the BI department and the rest of the company, translating company needs into BI briefs. Luisa also took on financial accounting duties such as daily cash-flow reporting, month-end financial reconciliations, journal completion, and invoice capturing. In 2012, Luisa joined Faithful to Nature as the Head of Commercial Strategy and later became the Head of Innovation & Merchandising. In this role, they drove the development and implementation of brand-led innovation projects and managed cross-functional projects to ensure internal and external viability. Additionally, they were the Head of Buying, leading a team of buyers in meeting stock turnover, fill rate, and margin targets.

Luisa Tropartz received their Masters Degree in Business Management from Napier University of Edinburgh in 2008. Prior to this, they obtained a Bachelor Of Honours in Business Studies: International Business & Organisational Management from the same university in 2007. From 2003 to 2006, they attended Fachhochschule Aachen and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Dual Award Business Studies in International Business & Economics as well as a Diplom-Kauffrau in Wirtschaftswissenschaften.
