Leyla Depret-Bixio

Leyla DEPRET-BIXIO is a seasoned biostatistician and data scientist with extensive experience in the fertility and pharmaceutical sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Research-Biostatistician at Fakih IVF Fertility Center, Leyla leads investigational protocol development and manages study-related documentation. Previously, Leyla was the Senior Manager of Data Analytics at ART Fertility Clinics, focusing on predictive factors for infertility, and held the role of Senior Data Scientist at the Center of Statistics for the Defense Minister of Honduras, where responsibilities included data structure definition and predictive modeling. At GSK, Leyla was instrumental in employing machine learning for patient profiling and conducting statistical analysis. Leyla’s earlier roles at Bristol-Myers Squibb encompassed data generation and biostatistical methodology, while initial consulting experience was gained at James Harvard International Group, focusing on various therapeutic areas. Leyla holds a Master's degree in Biostatistics and Epidemiology from the Medical University of South Carolina and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Universidad 'José Cecilio del Valle'.
