Emily West

As Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Emily West is responsible for overseeing all operational areas for Fallon Health, including member enrollment, billing, claims administration, customer service, business support solutions, and Information Technology.

Since joining Fallon in 1989, West has held various leadership roles. Her accomplishments over the last 26 years include developing and implementing a customer service department from the ground up; assisting in the launch of two core system replacements; managing several large vendor solutions, and implementing various components of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and Massachusetts health care reform.

West holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Assumption College and certificates in health care management and human resources. In 2014, West was selected for the American Health Insurance Plans (AHIP) Executive Leadership Program (ELP) and received her Certified Health Insurance Executives (CHIEs) designation in June 2015.
