Jan Healy

Jan Healy is an experienced educator currently serving as a Special Education Teacher at Falls Church City Public Schools since August 2022. Previously, Jan held the position of Dean of Academics at The Academy at Penguin Hall from August 2017 to February 2022 and served as the Assistant Head of School, Director of College Counseling, and Dean of Studies at Middleburg Academy from July 2012 to June 2017. Extensive career experience also includes various roles at The Potomac School from December 1989 to June 2010, such as Dean of Students, Associate College Counselor, Registrar, and Teacher. Jan is pursuing a Master of Arts in Special Education and Teaching at the University of Virginia and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from George Mason University and a Master of Arts in Counseling from Marymount University.
