Piyush Jain is a Pharmacovigilance Assessor at famhp, currently assessing safety reports for COVID-19 vaccines. Previously, Piyush worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Research Foundation Flanders and KU Leuven, focusing on the role of mast cells in Irritable Bowel Syndrome and Human enteric nerve tissue culture. Piyush also conducted research on TRPA1 channels in colitis at the University of Florence and psychopharmacology of visceral pain at the Medical University of Graz. Piyush has a Ph.D. in Neuroscience, a Master's in Pharmacy, and a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy.
