Scott Thompson

Scott Thompson is an experienced program manager with a strong background in mental health, social services, and veteran outreach. Currently serving as Program Manager for Family Centers in Greenwich/Stamford, CT since June 2016, Scott supervises a team of social workers and counselors focused on self-sufficiency and supportive housing programs. Previously, Scott held various leadership roles, including Director at Hudson Valley Psychosynthesis and Director of Veteran Outreach at NYU Langone Medical Center, where strategic outreach to the military community was a key responsibility. Scott has also directed initiatives at the Veterans Mental Health Coalition and Intersections International, enhancing dialogue and training in social services, particularly benefiting veterans. Scott holds advanced degrees in Counseling Psychology and Divinity from Villanova University and Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary, respectively, along with a Bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University.
