Melinda Lamkin Black

Melinda Lamkin Black has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Melinda began their career in 1984 at Tropical Shipping, where they worked in customer service. In 1987, they briefly served as a Store Manager at CATO FASHION before transitioning to Raulerson HCA Hospital as a Unit Clerk. In 1992, they joined Lee Memorial Health System as a Unit Assistant, a role they held for ten years. Finally, in 2002, they joined Family Health Centers of South West Florida, Inc. as the Assistant Vice President/Administrative Services, where they continue to work.

Melinda Lamkin Black earned a Masters Degree in Organizational Leadership (MSOL) with a focus on Not For Profit Leadership from the Quinnipiac University - School of Business. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Communication/Technical Communication from Kaplan University. Their educational journey started with an Associate's Degree in Fashion Merchandising from The Art Institutes.
