Sarah Carvajal, MSW has worked in a variety of roles since 2008. Sarah began their career as a Case Manager Contractor for Christian Recovery Aftercare Ministries, providing contracted case management services to CRAM inc. for ex offenders and individuals approaching decarceration. In 2015, they became a Case Manager at YWCA of Greater Harrisburg. In 2016, they took on the role of Secretary Board of Directors at CRAM inc. In 2017, they completed an Internship at National Children's Alliance. In 2018, they became an HIV Social Worker at UPMC. Most recently, in 2019, they were appointed Regional HIV Program Manager and Regional HIV Program Director at Family Health Council of Central PA.

Sarah Carvajal, MSW has a diverse educational background. Sarah began their studies at Temple University Graduate School, where they studied Nonprofit Management in Business Administration and Management, General. Sarah then went on to HACC, Central Pennsylvania's Community College, where they earned an Associate's degree in Human Services, General. After that, they attended Elizabethtown College, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Human Services, General. Finally, they completed their Master of Social Work - MSW at PennWest Edinboro in Social Work.
