Michael Wellons

Michael Wellons has extensive experience in the healthcare industry, specifically in behavioral healthcare. Michael began their career at Aspen Education Group, where they served as Senior Vice President Corporate Development, leading the acquisition team and overseeing the acquisition of 16 businesses. After Aspen Education Group was acquired by CRC Health Group, they joined Elements Behavioral Healthcare as the Executive Vice President Corporate Development. Michael then moved on to Acadia Healthcare, where they served as the Vice President of Development. Following this, they joined Behavioral Healthcare Consultants LLC as the Managing Director, sourcing specialized behavioral health acquisition candidates. Currently, they are the Chief Development Officer at Family Help and Wellness.

Michael Wellons received their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Real Estate from the University of Georgia - Terry College of Business in the years 1968 to 1970. Later, they pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Management from Georgia College & State University from 1973 to 1975.
