David Violette MD, CWSP, FACS serves as the Managing Medical Director for Post Acute Care at Carelon Health, leading a team of utilization management reviewers and enhancing productivity through process improvement. In addition, Violette holds the position of Regional Chief Medical Officer at Family Hospice, overseeing market expansion and interdisciplinary care delivery. As a Clinical Consultant with Global Litigation Consultants, Violette provides medico-legal analysis on a case-by-case basis. Previous experience includes serving as a Clinical Wound Care Specialist at Vohra Wound Physicians, where direct patient care and fellowship program development were key responsibilities. Violette's extensive medical background includes a role as a Staff General Surgeon at LEWIS-GALE PHYSICIANS, surgical critical care fellowship at Boston Medical Center, and surgical residency training. Educational credentials encompass an MD from Virginia Commonwealth University and an ongoing MBA at Clemson University.
