Family House provides a special “home away from home” for patients and/or their families who are in Pittsburgh seeking medical treatment.  By offering convenient, affordable housing in a home-like environment, Family House reduces the emotional and financial stress for people facing a medical crisis in a city where they may be strangers.  Family House is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit charitable organization governed by a community Board of Directors.

The Development Team at Family House is responsible for cultivating and managing relationships with donors, securing funding through grants and donations, and organizing fundraising events to support the organization's mission. They also engage with the community to raise awareness and increase support for the services Family House provides. This team includes roles such as the Marketing And Development Intern, Director Of Community And Family Engagement, Director Of Development, and Senior Director Of Development.
