Family House
Marcie Johnson is currently the Director of Special Projects at the University of Pittsburgh School of Public Health. Prior to this role, Marcie held positions such as Housing Coordinator at Family House and Assistant Director at University of Pittsburgh. Marcie has experience in alumni and student programming and event planning, as well as human resources tasks. In terms of education, Marcie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Slippery Rock University and is working towards a Master's degree in Higher Education Administration from the University of Pittsburgh.

Family House provides a special “home away from home” for patients and/or their families who are in Pittsburgh seeking medical treatment. By offering convenient, affordable housing in a home-like environment, Family House reduces the emotional and financial stress for people facing a medical crisis in a city where they may be strangers. Family House is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit charitable organization governed by a community Board of Directors.
