Karyssa Scheck

Karyssa Scheck is the Development and Communications Officer at Family Housing Fund. Karyssa previously worked as a Legislative Intern for Congressman Keith Ellison from January 2018 to May 2018, providing writing and research support, drafting letters and talking points, fielding constituent phone calls, and facilitating communication between the Congressman and constituents. From January 2017 to December 2017, Karyssa interned with Center for Small Towns, supporting the planning of the 2017 Rural Arts and Culture Summit in Morris, MN and creating marketing materials for additional community events. Karyssa also worked with the Cuyuna Lakes Chamber of Commerce to survey local business owners and identify strategies to support businesses during highway reconstruction. From August 2015 to December 2017, Karyssa was a Teaching and Research Assistant at the University of Minnesota-Morris.

Karyssa Scheck graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Minnesota-Morris.
