Family Houston
Ale Valdez is a dedicated clinician currently working at Family Houston since August 2022. Previously served as a School Counseling Intern at Catholic Charities USA from August 2021 to May 2022 and as a Program Assistant Intern at U.S Dream Academy from September 2020 to July 2021, where responsibilities included supporting student recruitment initiatives. Ale Valdez also gained experience as an Americorps Member at Tiny Trees Preschool and City Year between August 2018 and June 2020. Additionally, worked as a Behavioral Therapist at Key Essentials to Behavior Management, Corp, utilizing Applied Behavior Analysis for children with Autism and other disabilities from January 2018 to July 2018. Served as a Peace Corps Volunteer from August 2017 to December 2017. Educational background includes a Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Houston and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Humboldt State University.
