UpTogether
Jennifer Chatle is a Support Specialist for UpTogether (previously Family Independence Initiative). She previously served as Family Liaison for UpTogether in Detroit. She holds a Master’s degree in Macro Social Work from Wayne State University. Jennifer is interested in finding innovative and sustainable solutions for the social problems Detroit faces today. She has worked in the juvenile justice system in a wilderness setting teaching life skills to teens and empowering them to create their own future. She has also worked with United Way for Southeastern Michigan to provide free meals to school children during the summer months and is passionate about making sure people have access to healthy food. Jennifer is also an advocate for the use of geomapping in Social Work research.
