Rachel Bernstein

Rachel joined UpTogether in 2021 as a Product Manager. She brings five years of experience developing software with and for marginalized communities as a Senior Program Manager at Benetech’s Human Rights Program. She has also worked with refugees and asylees in the U.S. and on economic empowerment programs throughout Latin America and the Caribbean. Her interest in technology was ignited while researching mobile money, savings groups, and financial inclusion. She holds a Bachelors in International Relations and a Masters in Development Economics from University of California, Davis.
