Mike Kankelfritz has over 25 years of experience in the broadcasting industry. Mike has held various roles in multiple radio stations throughout their career. From 2018 to the present, Kankelfritz worked as the Chief Broadcast Engagement Officer at Family Life Communications, where they provided leadership in programming, production, and community engagement. Prior to that, they were the Morning Show Host/Director of Programming at Family Life Radio, where they strategically directed programming and achieved the highest ratings in the station's history. Mike also worked as a Morning Show Host at Educational Media Foundation K-LOVE & Air1 Media Networks and KSBJ Radio, where they co-hosted highly-rated morning shows and built relationships with major donors. Kankelfritz also served as a Morning Show Co-Host at 100.9 KXOJ and JQ-99, where they consistently achieved high ratings. In addition, they worked as a Regional Sales Manager at Integrity Insurance Associates and held various positions at Journal Broadcast Group. Kankelfritz began their career as a General Manager at Caleb Corporation KGVE and as the Director of Operations at B-99. Throughout their career, Kankelfritz has received numerous awards and recognition for their outstanding work in the industry.
Mike Kankelfritz completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Broadcasting from John Brown University between the years 1990 and 1994. Later, between 1997 and 1999, they attended Rhema Bible College to study Pastoral Studies/Counseling. The degree obtained from Rhema Bible College is not mentioned.
