Jaron Hobdy

Jaron Hobdy, MSW, has a robust background in social work and crisis intervention, currently serving as an Intake Specialist at Family & Nursing Care since August 2021. In this role, Jaron facilitates requests for services, oversees assessments, and collaborates with various professionals to ensure suitable care recommendations. Previous experience includes working at Kennedy Krieger Institute as a Program Aide, where Jaron focused on improving student behavioral and learning outcomes, and serving as a Crisis Counselor at Youth Villages, where risk assessment and problem-solving skills were employed to support clients. Jaron also held the position of Student Support Manager at Southern Adventist University, managing confidential information and providing tailored support to students. Jaron's early career includes an internship at The Family Justice Center in Chattanooga, engaging with domestic violence victims. Jaron holds a Master's degree in Social Work with a focus on Trauma & Emergency Management and a Bachelor's degree in Social Work, both from Southern Adventist University.
