Family of Kidz
Alyssa Goodman, M.S., is a dedicated school psychologist and predoctoral intern currently at Family of Kidz since July 2023. Previous experience includes roles as a clinical extern at the Child Mind Institute and a school psychologist at Steppingstone Day School, where responsibilities included CPSE evaluation. Educational background encompasses a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) in School Psychology and a Master of Science in School Psychology from St. John's University, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a focus on Applied Behavior Analysis from Binghamton University. Alyssa has also worked as a behavior therapist, teacher aide, and summer intern, gaining extensive experience with individuals on the Autism spectrum, employing Applied Behavior Analysis principles throughout various positions.

At Family of Kidz, we bring together highly qualified teams of professionals that work diligently to help individuals with special needs, from birth through adulthood. Our focus is on establishing a strong understanding of the individual’s needs and teaching them skills that lead to greater independence and an enhanced quality of life. Our multi-disciplinary team provides a wide-variety of therapeutic and educational services that include Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), special instruction, and related services including speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy and mental health services. As a team, we are committed to helping those with special needs overcome barriers to progress and develop new skills.
