Dr. Shamla A. Dupe has a diverse work experience spanning several organizations and roles. Dr.Shamla started their most recent role as a Consultant at the Family Planning Association of India in October 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Medical at the same organization, starting in 2015. From 2012 to 2015, Dr. Dupe worked as an Independent Public Health Consultant. Dr.Shamla also held the position of Assistant Director Medical at the Family Planning Association of India from 2010 to 2012. Before that, they were a Consultant at SNEHA from 2008 to 2009 and served as the Program Director at Niramaya Health Foundation from 2003 to 2008.
Dr. Shamla A. Dupte completed their MBBS and MD degrees in Preventive Social Medicine from Seth G S Medical College from 1990 to 1999. Dr.Shamla then pursued a PTMBA in Social Entrepreneurship from SVKM's Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) from 2008 to 2009.
