Hayley Hachey

Hayley Hachey has extensive work experience in human resources and people management. Hayley is currently serving as the Head of People & Capability at Family Planning since February 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Recruitment Manager (secondment) and Team Leader - HR Advisory at the Ministry of Social Development (MSD) from February 2019 to February 2022.

Hayley also has experience in HR organizations, serving as a committee member and later as the Branch President at HRNZ from June 2020 to the present.

Before joining MSD, Hayley worked as a Human Resources Manager at Family Planning from an unknown start date to January 2019. In this role, they were responsible for the strategic and operational delivery of the HR function and provided expert advice and coaching to managers.

Hayley's career in HR started at MAS (Medical Assurance Society) as an HR Advisor from August 2002 to May 2012. Hayley provided advice and support to managers on employment matters, particularly in the areas of remuneration and performance management. Hayley also designed and facilitated induction and orientation programs.

Hayley's early career includes a role as a Payroll/HR Advisor at the New Zealand Qualifications Authority from July 1999 to August 2002. Their responsibilities included payroll management and HR administration support, as well as providing advice on recruitment and selection processes.

Hayley Hachey obtained a Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management from Massey University.
