Michael Bernstein is an accomplished individual pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, and Data Science at Elon University. As an Elon University Business Fellow, Michael is part of a select cohort engaged in a comprehensive career development plan. Michael has acquired significant experience through various roles, including serving as a Counselor at Camp Walden New York, where extensive training and leadership skills were developed, and as an Associate Member of Beta Alpha Psi, participating in networking events focused on Accounting and Finance. Michael contributed as a Community Outreach volunteer for Family Promise, Inc., supporting homeless families, and excelled as an Accounting Control Intern at PepsiCo, winning a competition for innovative project work. Additionally, prior leadership roles included serving as a Class President and Treasurer at Saddle River Day School, showcasing Michael's strong organizational and collaborative skills.

Family Promise is a national nonprofit that mobilizes communities to help homeless and low-income families achieve lasting independence. Family Promise is based in Summit, New Jersey, where we began our work in 1988, founded on the belief that Americans are compassionate people who want to make a difference. Today we have more than 200 Affiliates in 43 states, with more in development. Family Promise is a leader in promoting volunteerism and has served as a model of American volunteerism in the U. S. and abroad. Our programs involve 180,000 volunteers nationwide who provide assistance to more than 50,000 family members annually. Family Promise was chosen to receive one of 21 Points of Light awards out of a field of more than 4,500 nominees.
