Megan Tanner is the Vice President of People and Culture at Family Reach since September 2020, previously serving as Director of Human Resources. Prior to this role, Megan was with the Fund for the Public Interest from August 2012 to September 2020, where the position of Recruitment Director involved leading recruitment for 200 professional Canvass Directors annually and developing strategies to enhance retention. Additional roles at the Fund included Regional Administrator, providing administrative support for national operations, and Canvass Director, overseeing a community organizing office that managed a team dedicated to advocacy for various social issues. Megan holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Affairs from Miami University, earned in 2012.

Loss of income, out-of-pocket expenses, and socioeconomic factors create disparities in the financial burdens families face. Family Reach delivers financial education, financial planning, resource navigation, and emergency relief funds to patients and caregivers facing a cancer diagnosis so no family has to choose between their health and their home.
