Morgan E. O'Brien has extensive work experience in the events and marketing industry. They began their career as an Office Intern at the Falmouth Road Race, where they gained experience in coordinating travel for elite athletes and organizing volunteer events. They then worked as an intern at Capstone Event Group, where they contributed to social media and helped secure contracts and sponsorships. Morgan also completed a sports marketing internship with Conventures, Inc. and served as a Guide Event Staff at Elon University.

In 2016, Morgan joined BostInno as an Events Coordinator, where they managed venues, contracts, and vendors for events with up to 2,300 attendees. They also implemented marketing plans that resulted in significant audience growth. Most recently, Morgan worked at Family Reach, starting as an Events Manager and progressing to Senior Manager roles, including Senior Manager of Events, Senior Project Manager of Strategic Initiatives, and Senior Manager of Strategy & Impact. They are currently the Director of Community Relations at Family Reach.

Morgan E. O'Brien pursued their education by first attending Thayer Academy from 2008 to 2012. However, the specific degree or field of study they pursued during this time is unknown. Later, from 2012 to 2016, they attended Elon University and obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Sport and Event Management.

removing financial barriers that stand between cancer patients and their treatment Family Reach is a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to removing the financial barriers standing between a cancer patient and their treatment. Loss of income, out-of-pocket expenses, and socioeconomic factors create disparities in the financial burdens families face. Family Reach delivers financial education, financial planning, resource navigation, and emergency relief funds to patients and caregivers facing a cancer diagnosis so no family has to choose between their health and their home.
