John Bindas

John Bindas has extensive experience in executive leadership roles. John started their career in 1999 at Volunteers of America Michigan, where they served in various positions including Enterprise Development Director, Vice President of Entrepreneurial Development, and Chief Operating Officer. In these roles, they were responsible for developing and implementing strategies for organizational growth.

From 2015 to 2016, John worked as the Chief Executive Officer at the School-Community Health Alliance of Michigan. Here, they led the organization's operations and advocated for school-based healthcare, successfully securing funding for health centers in the Michigan state budget.

In 2016, John joined the Family Resource Center of Northwest Ohio, Inc. as President and Chief Executive Officer. John provided leadership and direction to the organization, leading its growth and increasing revenue.

In 2017, John transitioned to Century Health as the Chief Executive Officer, a position they held until 2019.

John Bindas has a diverse education history. John obtained an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in Business Administration and Management from Columbus State Community College between 1996 and 1998. Following this, they pursued further education and obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Organizational Development from Spring Arbor University, which they completed between 2003 and 2005.

In 2002 and 2003, John attended Case Western Reserve University, where they completed a Comprehensive Executive Leadership Training Certification, focusing on Non Profit Executive Leadership Training.

John continued to enhance their education with a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Organizational Leadership from Spring Arbor University between 2008 and 2010. During the same period, they also completed the Executive Development Program Certification at the University of Notre Dame - Mendoza College of Business, specializing in Executive Development.

Additionally, John expanded their knowledge in theological training and spiritual leadership by participating in a Certification program at Duke Divinity School in 2004.

In terms of certifications beyond formal education, John obtained the State of Michigan Registered Lobbyist certification from the Department of State in February 2015.
