Hannah Ellis Ackerman

Hannah Ellis Ackerman has extensive experience in coordinative and educational roles within the field of family support and child welfare. Currently serving as a Care Coordinator at Family Resources since October 2021, Hannah previously worked as a Parent Educator at Bethany for Children & Families from December 2020 to October 2021, where responsibilities included developing and facilitating education and support groups for parents. Prior roles at the Child Abuse Council included serving as a Birth and Bereavement Doula and Family Support Worker, focusing on education, advocacy, and support for families, particularly during prenatal stages. Earlier in their career at Family Resources, Inc. from January 2012 to December 2015, Hannah created the Milieu Coordinator position and implemented key policies while supervising a team and serving as a liaison for child welfare clients. Hannah holds an educational background from Iowa State University.
